Before you begin the online application process, carefully read
the instructions below. Do not proceed if you have not read and
understood these instructions.
WARNING:
The application process must be completed in one session. You are not
permitted to interrupt and return to this electronic form at a later
time. Please gather all of the information you need to complete the
application in one session before beginning. Please allow 2 weeks for
Official Transcripts to arrive at our office. You must have the information listed below ready to cut and paste into
the appropriate sections of the online application before you begin.

1. Names of the award(s) and scholarship(s) that you are applying for.
Please refer to the Awards and
Scholarships Table.
2. Please be sure to
check which Awards you are eligible to apply for.
3.
A "CV" or resume in the correct format as per
our Resume Guidelines.
4.
Career goals summary – no more than 500 words - refer to guidelines for
Career Goals
Summary Instructions.
5.
Brief Biography to be used for RNFOO publications – no more than 100
words – please use third person when writing
6.
If you are submitting for a Research Award refer to
Research
Proposal Instructions.
7.
Once you have completed and submitted the application, you will be
required to make a payment for the administration fee by credit card
only. ($20 for RNAO members, must submit membership number or $30 for
non RNAO member). Please have your credit card ready.
8.
Please ensure you have contacted your 2 references. Please read the
Reference
Letter Guidelines.
9.
You will need to submit proof of enrolment. Accepted
documentation consists of either a letter from the university/college
stating you are currently enrolled in the program or when you were
accepted into the program. Transcripts or proof of payment will not be
accepted.
10.
The closing date for 2010 Awards & Scholarships Applications is Friday,
February 12th, 2010 at 4:30pm EST and you will no longer be able to
access the online application form after that time.
11.
Please note that all transcripts and letters of reference must be
received in the RNFOO office by the closing date, February 26th, 2010
4pm, for your application to be considered.
12. You will be contacted by the RNFOO office staff if items are missing
from your application by Tuesday, February 16th by 4pm - there is no need
for you to call to check.
