About Us Purpose The Registered Nurses' Foundation of Ontario (RNFOO) is a charitable organization that provides financial support for Registered Nurses and nursing students to further their education or engage in research.

To raise funds and steward sound investments to provide awards & scholarships to Registered Nurses and nursing students in Ontario. Vision To be recognized by the Ontario Nursing Community as the leading provider of nursing awards & scholarships in Ontario. Values Integrity We will act with integrity, honesty and openness clearly explaining our priorities and the purpose for which we are raising funds. Partnerships We are committed to effective partnerships and alliances with our many stakeholders. Donor-Centred Stewardship We will respect the privacy of our donors by not selling or exchanging their names and honour all requests for anonymity. We will acknowledge those donors who wish recognition in an appropriate and balanced manner. Accountability We will be fiscally responsible with the funds entrusted to us by our donors by ensuring that those funds are distributed effectively. We will account to our donors regularly. Academic Achievement We believe that academic studies promote the development of nurses and the advancement of nursing. Awards & Scholarships The Foundation's awards & scholarships are accessible to over 100,000 nurses and nursing students in Ontario. Funds are available for study at the certificate level, basic or post-basic education and graduate level. Candidates must provide evidence that their studies and/or advanced education will influence the health of the public and aid in creating healthy communities.
