Holly Pelvin holds a PhD in Criminology from the University of Toronto, where she worked as contract faculty until the pandemic hit and inspired her to pursue a career in nursing. Holly is completing her third year in the BScN program at Toronto Metropolitan University, and has clinical interests in oncology, palliation, and end-of-life care. Holly has been using her research and policy background to advocate for improvements in patient-centered cancer care in presentations at the local, regional, and provincial level. Holly plans to combine her passions for bedside care, policy, and research into a rewarding career in nursing.
