Giving Thanks for Nurses This Thanksgiving

As we gather with family and friends this Thanksgiving, we take time to reflect on what we’re most grateful for. At the top of our list are the nurses who care for our communities with skill, compassion, and unwavering dedication.

Nurses are there in our brightest and darkest moments. They celebrate milestones with patients and families, and they provide comfort during times of pain and uncertainty. They advocate for safer, healthier communities and inspire future generations through their leadership and commitment.

This year, we are especially mindful of the countless hours nurses devote to keeping us well – often sacrificing time with their own families during the holiday season. Their work ensures that hospitals, clinics, long-term care homes, and community health programs remain places of healing and hope.

On Thanksgiving, while many of us enjoy a well-deserved rest, nurses continue their vital role. For that, and so much more, we say thank you.

To every nurse: your dedication makes a difference every single day. We are deeply grateful for your care, your advocacy, and your compassion.

From all of us at RNFOO, we wish you and your loved ones a warm and happy Thanksgiving.
