Terrence Joseph Dizon has recently completed his Master of Nursing – Health Systems Leadership and Administration at the University of Toronto. A certified Hospice Palliative Care Nurse [CHPCN(C)], he works as a Registered Nurse at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. Terrence is dedicated to dispelling myths and stigma surrounding palliative care, ensuring patients and families receive compassionate, timely, and dignified support. In his role, he provides support to colleagues, fostering excellence in end-of-life care. A member of the Palliative Care Nurses Interest Group, he sees this award as inspiration to further his mission of advancing palliative care through expertise, compassion, and advocacy.
