Alaissa Santos is a second-year student in the Compressed Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at Trent University. She brings over eight years of experience as a Registered Practical Nurse, with a background in long-term care, retirement homes, and community health.

Her approach is rooted in person- and family-centred practice, with a strong focus on cultural competence to better support older adults and vulnerable populations. Now pursuing her RN designation, Alaissa is committed to providing inclusive, relational care. She is honoured to receive the RNFOO WeRPN Post-PN Program Award and grateful for the support in her nursing journey.
