Dr. Jamie DiCasmirro is an Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing at Lakehead University and serves as Director of the Centre for Education and Research on Positive Youth Development. With a clinical background in paediatrics and public health, she has built on this foundation as an early career researcher, focusing on adolescent vaping prevention, youth mental health promotion, and simulation in nursing education.

Caroline Sabotig is Simulation Lab Coordinator at Lakehead University and a PhD student at the University of Ottawa. With clinical experience in critical care, her research focuses on simulation-based healthcare education and debriefing post-critical events to support healthcare worker well-being and professional development.
