Lisa is a registered nurse in her final year of the Master of Nursing program at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU), specializing in Leadership in Health Care Policy and Education. With 11 years of experience in adult and pediatric palliative care, she currently serves as a Clinical Nurse Educator at Emily’s House Children’s Hospice. Lisa recently led a quality improvement initiative to identify gaps in early palliative care access for adolescents and young adults living with cancer. She also acts as a teaching assistant in TMU’s undergraduate nursing program, where she has cultivated a strong passion for educating the next generation of nurses.
