Allyssa Wein is an RPN enrolled in the bridging program at McMaster University to obtain her Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Having a background in Health Sciences, with focused courses studying the aging body, mind and population, she chose to pursue nursing to provide holistic care to older adults. Her employment in long term care, volunteerism in palliative care and medical outreach trip abroad inspired her to specialize in gerontological nursing. She is interested in geriatric mental health and desires to one day complete a Master’s in Nursing. Allyssa is committed to promoting independence, autonomy and dignity to improve quality of life for seniors.
