Cynthia Unitas received her Bachelor of Science in Honours Life Science with Distinction from McMaster University. She is currently pursuing her nursing degree at the Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing, University of Toronto. Cynthia’s lifelong passion for paediatrics has led her to various roles such as being a science mentor with the Let’s Talk Science program, working as a childcare specialist, and volunteering for Smiles Foundation which provides dental care for children in the Dominican Republic. She is currently employed at the Hospital for Sick Children as a researcher with a focus on infant pain and knowledge translation.
