Ellen Buck-McFadyen is a PhD student at McMaster University and a faculty member in the nursing department at Trent University. Her background is in community and family health nursing. Her research interests are in rural health and the social determinants of health. Ellen lives in rural Ontario with her husband and 2 children, and is co-founder and director of a registered charity, The Isaac Foundation.
