Karen Campbell is a PhD student at McMaster University.

With more than 15 years of experience as a public health nurse, Karen’s work has focused on supporting young mothers. Her program of research is at the intersection of women’s health and rural geography. Her dissertation examines the Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP), a public health nursing intervention program for socially and economically disadvantaged mothers. Karen will be determining the modifications and adaptations that are necessary for NFP in rural Canadian communities.
