Kate is a Registered Nurse in General Paediatrics and Respiratory Medicine at The Hospital for Sick Children. She has worked as a clinic nurse, a research nurse in the Respiratory Medicine program, and as a clinical support nurse on the in-patient unit. She has been involved with SickKids International in a nursing education project. She is currently pursuing Master of Nursing and Nurse Practitioner degrees with a focus on maternal, infant and child health. She hopes to work as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the area of paediatrics while continuing to be involved in global child health initiatives.
