Sanja Visekruna is a first-year doctoral student in the Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing, UofT. Sanja’s nursing career has encompassed direct care roles in critical care and paediatrics (Type 1 diabetes self-management focus), and an indirect care role in nursing education policy. Her long-term goal is to become a nurse scientist and educator, conducting health services research in the area of resource utilization in chronic disease self-management, and educating the future generation of nurses.
