Vanna is in her third year of the BScN program at Ryerson University. Vanna currently volunteers as a research assistant at the Hospital for Sick Children studying pain management in children with juvenile idiopathic arthritis and transition readiness in children with chronic illnesses. Vanna also volunteers as an executive member of the Canadian Nursing Students’ Association at Ryerson University. In addition, Vanna is currently employed in her capacity as a nursing student at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. Vanna’s future goal is to work as a paediatric critical care nurse and to continue in nursing research initiatives.
