In 2009, the Halton RNAO chapter had a fund surplus that they wanted to put to good use. After researching possibilities, they decided to offer a scholarship through RNFOO.

The Halton RNAO Chapter Scholarship provides an opportunity to a 3rd or 4th year basic baccalaureate nursing students or 2nd year of a second level entry baccalaureate program to complete their degree. Applicants must demonstrate high academic standards and community service.
