To support to a Registered Nurse who is enrolled in further study in the field of rehabilitation nursing. Applicants need not be enrolled in a degree program: they may be in a specialty certificate program, baccalaureate or master’s degree level of study. Preference will be given to those whose focus of study demonstrates a positive impact on the promotion and development of rehabilitation nursing. Applicants must be members of the RNAO Ontario Association of Rehabilitation Nurses for a minimum of one year. Applicants can only receive this award once per degree, to a maximum of two times during their academic career.

The Ontario Association of Rehabilitation Nurses (OARN) is the professional association for Ontario Registered Nurses or nursing students with an interest in rehabilitation.
OARN’s mission is:
- To foster the development of rehabilitation nursing as a specialty within nursing and within the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team
- Facilitate the exchange of knowledge and information between rehabilitation nurses
