Abigail Wickson-Griffiths graduated from McMaster University’s BScN program in 2006 and went on to complete the MN program at Ryerson University in 2008. Her master’s thesis focused on mealtime strategies for people with dementia and their caregivers living in the community. She is currently a PhD student in the School of Nursing at McMaster University and is supervised by Dr. Sharon Kaasalainen. As a student trainee with the Quality Palliative Care in Long-Term Care Alliance project, Abigail will focus on evaluating an advance care planning program aimed at persons with dementia for her doctoral thesis work.
