Ashley Desrosiers is in her final year of BScN program at the University of Ottawa. Her work as a research assistant with CHEO’s “Be Sweet to Babies” research team, which studies pain management strategies in neonates, infants, and young children has deepened her interest in neonatal nursing. Ashley’s short term career goal is to work in a neonatal nursing unit such as the NICU where she completed her consolidation practicum this past semester. Eventually Ashley intends to pursue a Master’s degree to contribute to advancing clinical practice with research.
