Carley Ouellette is a clinical research nurse working on the Cardiac Surgical Unit at Hamilton Health Sciences while completing an MSc at McMaster University.

In her clinical position she is deploying SMArTVIEW: a digital health in-hospital and hospital-to-home monitoring intervention for seniors who undergo cardiac and major vascular surgery. The focus of Carley’s graduate work is evaluating the feasibility and acceptability of the SMArTVIEW trial and related nursing scope of practice in the first 100 Canadian cases.
