Herbert Song is a fourth-year nursing student at Queen’s University who intends to pursue a career in oncology nursing.
Herbert’s work as an executive member of the Queen’s Nursing Science Society, frontline healthcare worker across various specialty areas, and research assistant have motivated him in his journey to become an evidence-informed, compassionate professional. His clinical opportunities, most notably his consolidation placement in outpatient oncology, have driven him toward a career caring for patients with cancer. He also hopes to pursue graduate education to conduct research and mentor future generations of nurses.
