Melinda completed her BScN in 2006 from Trent University. Her clinical practice background is in mental health and public health/health promotion. She is keenly interested in nursing’s collective identity, factors influencing the nursing profession, and nursing professional practice. Melinda is currently completing her MN degree in the field of administration from the University of Toronto. In her future research, Melinda hopes to explore the impact of Chief Nursing Executives/Officers on staff-level nurse empowerment.
